Corporate, Professional and Standard Editions.
Both SQL and Access database back-ends are served by the same version of MasterMine, and look virtually identical.
MS Office 2000, XP, 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 (32-bit and 64-bit)
Office 2003 has significant improvements for PivotTables, both for users and the back end, and is more stable.
Office 2007, 2010, and 2013 have greater functionality and are highly recommended.
(Microsoft Excel must be installed on the workstation or terminal server prior to installing MasterMine)
For larger data files (more than a few thousand contacts or 20,000 history records), 2 GB or more is highly recommended.
High-speed Networks
Network speed can be a bottleneck if large files are queried. See the user manual for hints on query efficiency.
Install Instructions:
1. If you have the SQL version of QuoteWerks, you will need SQL credentials to complete the installation.
2. MasterMine must be installed on the workstation or terminal server where Excel and the QuoteWerks node are installed.
3. Close all instances of Excel and log into QuoteWerks as any level of user (not necessarily admin) prior to installing MasterMine.
4. Run the MasterMine for QuoteWerks Installer with Windows Admin privileges (right click the Installer and choose "Run as Administrator").
5. If you have multiple QuoteWerks nodes installed, the first time you run MasterMine you may see a Help Message that gives instructions for managing this situation using the QuoteWerks component "QWLaunch.exe". Follow the instructions carefully.
